Fusing Culure with Art

The inspiration behind the collection

“The Flower Vendor” -Diego Rivera

Nature has always been a major source of inspiration in both my fashion design process and my day-to-day life. Through volunteer efforts involving forest, park, and garden cleanups, I have developed a deep sense of love and peace within nature.

Flora has always been one of the most fascinating aspects of nature to me. Its beauty and significance within my Mexican culture continue to inspire my exploration and adaptation of natural elements into my work. My culture deeply appreciates and celebrates both artists and their art, which has further influenced my creative perspective.

The work of Claude Monet has always represented the beauty and importance of nature in our everyday lives. After visiting his home in Giverny, France, and experiencing it in person, I truly understood why nature was such a powerful driving force behind his work. That experience motivated me to continue showcasing nature’s beauty through my own designs while incorporating my personal and cultural inspirations.

As a result, I created a look inspired by one of Claude Monet’s most iconic paintings of all time.

Uplifting Women’s Voices

Women deserve to be seen and heard!

Drawing inspiration directly from the Impressionist movement, this collection celebrates one of the first modern art movements to prominently include women artists such as Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, and Eva Gonzalès.

The intention behind this collection is to highlight and celebrate women through the lens of the Impressionist movement, featuring all-over prints (AOPs) of hand-drawn floral motifs and garment construction designed to help women both feel confident and look beautiful.

Each garment is directly inspired by a different Impressionist painting technique, which influenced the structure, texture, and color palette of the designs. The layering throughout the collection was both intentional and essential, serving to further develop the floral motif through the exploration of layered petals placed in diverse areas throughout each garment.
